As you browse our website, you will notice that American Heritage School offers a wide range of athletic opportunities for both Boys and Girls in Grades 7-12 We offer the following competitive 15 sports:
Our major objectives are to teach responsibility, discipline, time management, and the spirit of competition and good sportsmanship, all within a close-knit family environment.
Our coaching staff, with a combination of over 100 years of coaching experience, has the desire and skills necessary to lead student athletes through their years of athletic competition at American Heritage School and on to the collegiate level.
Each year, numbers of student-athletes receive college scholarships based on their athletic abilities and performances during their "playing days" at American Heritage School. This year, we had 15 major-college athletic scholarships signed!
For those who do not have the ability or desire to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level, American Heritage School's athletic programs offer the opportunity to participate and develop athletic skills, accomplishments and relationships.
American Heritage School is a member of the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA). Membership in the FHSAA assures that we are able to compete against the finest programs in the State of Florida.
Sports Illustrated magazine, edition May 26, 2008, rated American Heritage School - Plantation's athletic program the #1 program in the State of Florida in ALL high school classifications! By winning the State Title, we advanced to the 50-State Competition and were named the #7 Athletic High School Program in the Nation! Our programs have won State Championships in Girls Golf, Girls Soccer, Girls Softball, Girls Swimming, Girls Tennis, Girls Track & Field, Boys Baseball, Boys Diving, Boys Soccer and Boys Track & Field. We have won National Championships in Boys Baseball, Cheerleading and Girls Soccer.
