Mrs. Dwulit's path to Avonworth has been an interesting one, beginning as a Quartermaster Officer in the United States Army from 2000-2005 after graduating from the University of Pittsburgh and the Army ROTC program. She served both at Fort Bragg, NC and a deployment overseas using her skills as a rigger and jumpaster to gain valuable life experience!
Mrs. Dwulit taught High School Social Studies at Upper St. Clair High School for 8 years before moving to an administrative role with Wilson School District in West Lawn, PA, serving as a High School Assistant Principal. Following a move with her family back to Pittsburgh, she was hired as the Avonworth High School Assitant Principal for the start of the 2015/2016 school year and became the High School Principal in January of 2017.
Mrs. Dwulit's educational preparation includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology & Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master's in Teaching also from the University of Pittsburgh, and Administrative Certificate from Gannon University.
Middle School Principal
Mr. Hall’s first five years in education were devoted to teaching middle school students in Colonial Beach, Virginia. He then moved back to Pennsylvania and taught fourth grade for one year with Propel Charter Schools and three and a half years in the Canon-McMillan School District.
Mr. Hall was then tapped to serve as an Assistant Principal at Canon-McMillan High School. He worked in this capacity for two and a half years prior to being hired as the Middle School Principal for the Avonworth School District at the start of the 2012-2013 school year. He is also the co-chair person for the Avonworth District Safety Committee.
Mr. Hall earned his Masters of Education and Administration certification from California University of Pennsylvania. He received his BA from Marietta College and is a high school graduate of Lincoln High School in Ellwood City, PA.
Elementary School Principal
Primary Center Principal
Mr. Miller became Avonworth Primary Center Principal in 2014. He is also the chair of the Avonworth Technology committee and plans the annual Teachers Technology Conference. Prior to his current position, he served as Avonworth Elementary School’s Assistant Principal for four years. He also worked for five years as a sixth grade mathematics teacher at Avonworth Middle School.
Mr. Miller is currently enrolled in the Instructional Management and Leadership doctoral program at Robert Morris University. He also completed the Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility Program at California University of Pennsylvania and holds a Masters of Science and Bachelors of Science from Robert Morris University.
