Toll named principal of Turner Elementary

PALM BAY, Florida--Dr. Ashley Toll plans to build relationships with the community, students and teachers as the new principal of Turner Elementary.

 

Toll said: “I am looking forward to influencing and connecting with a new community of students and teachers and continue to help them reach their goals. I am honored that I was chosen to be the principal at Turner. I feel like this will a great fit for me and I am looking forward to leading a great group of students and teachers.” 

 

She has worked for Brevard Public Schools throughout her 14 years in education. Toll began her teaching career at Discovery Elementary in Palm Bay and went on to be assistant principal at Endeavour Elementary in Cocoa and then Meadowlane Intermediate in West Melbourne.

 

“I am proud of the amazing relationships that I have made with students at all of the schools that I have worked at in Brevard County,” Toll said. “Helping students discover their self-worth and ability to succeed is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.” 

 

Toll is a Melbourne High graduate and attended Discovery Elementary and Central Middle in West Melbourne. She earned bachelor’s and doctorate degrees from Florida State University and a master’s degree from Nova Southeastern. Her doctoral research focused on equity in discipline for elementary students.

 

She lives in West Melbourne with her husband and three children.
