Athletic Purpose

Athletic Purpose

"And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. "
Col. 3:23-24

It is the desire of Calvary Baptist that our students use athletics to glorify God through physical activity. It is with this goal in mind that the following objectives are developed for our sports program.

1. To develop the student’s spiritual and mental aspects of life as well as their physical abilities.

2. To teach Christian character.

3. To build school spirit.

4. To give students the opportunity of witnessing before, during, and after the game.

5. To honor God through the area of athletics.
