What is PBS?

PBS (Positive Behavior Support) is a problem-solving approach used to address behavior of all students. It aims to build effective environments in which positive behavior is more effective than problem behavior. Emphasis is placed on the use of preventative, teaching, and reinforcement-based strategies to achieve meaningful and durable behavior.


What does PBS look like at Cambridge?

Cambridge became a PBS school in 2009 and was selected as a PBS Silver Level Model School in 2010. Our goal is to teach students those behaviors that will have a positive impact on their academics and social lives. The following are our school-wide expectations:
