SCHOOL MISSION STATEMENT

 We, the community of Caroline Street School, will provide a safe, nurturing and academically challenging environment, fostering the self -esteem and zest for learning that will enable students to grow to their full potential as healthy, creative, responsible citizens.

Welcome to Caroline Street School!  Caroline Street School is  located at 310 Caroline Street on the eastside of our city, Saratoga Springs.  Our school includes 19 sections of approximately 450 Kindergarten through Grade 5 students.  Our class average for Grades K & 1 is 21 students or less and for Grades 2-5 our class average for the past few years is approximately 24 students per teacher.  Our students also enjoy the expertise of a number of certified specialists.  These may include, but are not limited to some of the following Caroline Street School staff members:  Art, Music and PE instructors, Library Media Specialist, Special Education and Academic Intervention Service teachers, a School Nurse, a School Psychologist, and Speech/Language Therapist.  In addition, we are very fortunate to provide a Gifted and Talented class as well as an excellent Band and Orchestra program.  Finally, over 20 Support Staff provide our school and students with excellent instructional and facility support.
 
Caroline Street School not only enjoys a hardworking and dedicated staff, but an equally supportive and tireless Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO).  Our PTSO sponsors many academic, enrichment and fun activities for all of our students.  We are very fortunate for their support and generosity.
