Elgin PTO

Come join the fun!

The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) of Elgin High School invites you to become an important part of the EHS learning community. Parents, alumni, teachers and other staff members, and residents from the surrounding Elgin neighborhoods join together to support the students attending this vibrant high school. Best of all, PTO members have a great time volunteering at various events during the school year AND meeting other parents and many EHS teachers!

We meet monthly with staff and other parents to plan how we can best serve Elgin High School in our role as active parent volunteers. The Parent-Teacher Organization at this high school is very different from the elementary school level!

We hold ONLY ONE FUNDRAISER during the school year that directly benefits students and the school in a variety of ways. Our Annual Antiques and Collectibles EHS FLEA MARKET held in March attracts over 170 vendors and hundreds of shoppers from around the Midwest. Parent and teacher/staff volunteers working alongside our very excellent student volunteers make this event a great success! Profits earned from this event are shared with the participating student groups.

The PTO awards $500 Vocational Scholarships to two or more graduating seniors every year. We also fund and volunteer our time to many student activities and teacher requests throughout the school year.
