Picture

Congratulations to you and your school for being a Top School in the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth Talent Search for 2009.

Participating at high levels in the annual CTY Talent Search reflects upon the school's academic quality, student abilities, and teacher talent. It also reflects upon the school leadership that encourages students to seek out educational challenges beyond traditional school walls. It's a mark of quality for which your school can be justly proud. Congratulations from all of us at CTY, and best wishes for continued academic success.

The CTY Academic Talent Search is a nation wide program offered to students who have scored in the advanced category on the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS). It is sponsored by the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth. The purpose of the Talent Search is to identify, assess, and recognize the academic abilities of highly able students.

Here at FLMS, we notify each qualifying student in the Fall of their 7th grade year of their eligibility to participate in this program. Students are given information to take home to their parent or guardian to decide if they would like to partake in this opportunity.
