FLMS Mix It Up Lunch Day 2009

Mix it Up Lunch Day is a nation wide event that occurs every November. Students are encouraged to do something that seems so simple on the surface, take a new seat at lunch. Yet something seemingly so simple can be very powerful as students cross invisible barriers and divisions that seperate various groups within our school. Mixing it up at lunch allows students to meet new people, make new friendships, and become more comfortable interacting with different peers.

Here at FLMS the Friends of Rachel group helped organize, promote, and run Mix It Up Lunch day along with the support of our faculty, staff and administration.
