The York County School Division enters into annual contracts with vendors for yearbooks, graduation paraphernalia, and professional photography services as a service to our parents and students. The sales of yearbooks and student portraits constitute internal fund raising activities for individual schools. The professional photography contracts provide that individual schools will retain 50% of gross sales from portraits, a minimum of 20% of gross profits from school dances and athletic events. Proceeds from yearbook sales are established annually based on total sales. These monies contribute to the individual school activity funds for such things as student materials and resources.
