Faculty amp Grade Level Information
A Note from Mr. Frana:
Greetings Moton Elementary Leopards and families,
My name is Joe Frana and I have the privilege of becoming your new Principal. Let me begin by saying I am honored to be your Principal! I want you to know that the students, faculty, staff and community will get my very best each and every day. I am committed to this school and working together as a school family to educate these children. I am a firm believer in building relationships, celebrating success, having high expectations and being all in for every child every day. I have been in education for 26 years and truly consider myself a lifelong learner. I have served as a teacher and a coach along with every administrative position from Dean to Principal and I have worked at every level from Pre-Kindergarten to High School. I stated that I have served these positions because that is truly how I lead, with a servant’s heart. I look forward to serving this school and its community for many years. I am excited to join the faculty, staff, students, families and community members and the entire Moton Elementary family.
A Note from Mrs. O’Rourke:
I wanted to take a moment to share how excited I am to work with all of you and Mr. Frana to support Moton's school improvement efforts. I have been a teacher and Administrator in Hernando County since 1995, and played a vital part in helping Westside Elementary School make significant improvement, moving from a D to a B, in a very short period of time. I am very impressed by the sense of community at Moton and the teachers and parents’ obvious dedication and commitment to students. Mr. Frana and I share a passion for building relationships, focusing on the positive, and celebrating success in our quest for excellence. We will accomplish our mission of reaching every child, every day, and exemplify our Moton PRIDE. It's going to be a great year!
