Regular attendance in elementary school sets up a good pattern for your child’s entire school career. Show him or her that school comes first by limiting days off to illness or family emergencies only. Also, consider scheduling routine doctor and dentist appointments for after school or over school breaks. Remember, the more school a child misses, the more likely he or she is to fall behind academically.
Help your child get the most out of school by showing up on time, every day.
Students who accumulate three (3) or more absences will receive a letter from the school.
