SAT ? Scholastic Aptitude Test
It is recommended that students take the SAT exam at least once in the spring of their junior year or early fall of their senior year. The SAT is a college placement exam.

The SAT is comprised of ten sections totaling 3 hours and 45 minutes. The exam tests students in the following areas:
Essay = 25 minutes
Mathematics, Critical Reading, Writing = (6) Six 25 minute sections
Mathematics, Critical Reading, Writing = (2) Two 20 minute sections
Multiple Choice Writing = 10 minute section
SAT II
The SAT II tests measure a student?s mastery in specific subject areas. These exams are often required by more competitive colleges. Students should check with the individual college regarding required exams.
The Subject Test is offered in five general areas: English, Languages, History/Social Studies, Mathematics and Science.
The SAT Subject Test is offered six times a year and students can take up to three tests on a single date. Each exam is one hour in length and consists of multiple choice questions and may have other unique formats.
