As you may know, students have already met with their counselors and pre-requested courses for next year. Beginning today, January 22nd at 8:00 a.m. you will have the opportunity to go into Parent Portal and review those selections. You will also be able to enter alternate selections that will be used in order of preference / entry and availability in the event that a requested course is full, does not make, or becomes unavailable for any reason. This window will close at 2:00 pm, Thursday, January 25th.
How do I enter ALTERNATE selections? (Please enter a minimum of 3 course alternates!)
- Login to Parent Portal
- If you have multiple students you must select a student from the pull down menu at the top
- Click Academic Planner on the left side of the screen
- Click Next
- Enter Alternate Courses (both semesters), in order of preference, at the bottom of the screen where it says “Alternates” (see example below where the first year of Visual Art is entered as an alternate)
- Click on Save at the top of the screen
