Preschool Program (GSRP)

The Lansing School District offers FREE Preschool Programs designed to prepare children for kindergarten.  Classes are offered Monday through Thursday, throughout the school year, at various locations throughout the Lansing School District.

To enroll, the child must:

• Be four-years-old by December 1st (but not 5).

• Be a resident of the Lansing School District. 

• Must meet eligibility criteria. (Parents/Guardians will be given a brief questionnaire to determine if their child meets at least two criteria required by grant funding.)

Please bring the following documents when enrolling a child...

• Birth Certificate- State Copy
• Immunization Record
• Proof of Residence: (example-utility bill, lease, etc.)
• Verification of Income: (example- check stub, W2, tax return, DHS statement, etc.)
• Guardianship or Custody Documents- if applicable
• Health Insurance Information: copy of insurance card
• Health Appraisal (physical):  Due, no later, than 30 days after the child starts school
• Any applicable custody documents
