Our Programs

Adult Basic/Secondary Education Classes:

High School Equivalency (HSE) classes are designed to help adults prepare for the HiSET or the GED exam, the two high school equivalency exam options in Massachusetts.   The high school credential is accepted by colleges and employers nationwide.

HSE Morning classes are offered at our Main Center, 408 Merrimack Street,  Monday through Friday, 9am - 12 noon.  There are also satellite programs throughout Lowell.  Their locations and schedules are listed below.

HSE Evening classes are held  at Lowell High School, 50 Father Morrissette Blvd on Monday and Wednesday,  6pm - 8:45pm. Optional programming is available on Tuesday evenings.

Adult learners are invited to participate in a comfortable, non-threatening learning environment.   Any Greater Lowell resident who is a minimum of 16 years old and has officially withdrawn from school, is eligible to enroll in HSE classes.
