Cara Frederick & Valerie Kelly

Your Speech Language Pathology Team

 

Cara Frederick:

Attended the University of Florida (Go Gators!)

She received her Master of Arts in Communication Disorders

Additionally, she completed her full fellowship, for national certification with Brevard Public Schools.

 

She was conferred the American Speech Language Hearing Association's (ASHA)

Clinical Competency Certificate and continues to update all criteria to maintain the current status with ASHA 

As an added bonus she holds the Kindergarten through 12 grade teaching certificate with the Florida Department of Education

Cara has worked an a Speech Language Pathologist in the field for over 15 years. 

 

 

 

Valerie J. Kelly:

Attended the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!)

She received her  Master of Arts in Communication Disorders

Additionally, she completed her full fellowship, for national certification with Tandem Health Care

She was conferred the American Speech Language Hearing Association's (ASHA)

Clinical Competency Certificate and continues to update all criteria to maintain the current status with ASHA 

 

Valerie served as a member of the ENT surgical unit at Naval Medical Center San Diego for two years, treating active duty members and their dependents. She has worked with Brevard Public Schools in varied capacities since 1989.

She is currently pursuing certification in the Mindful Schools project.

 

Cara and Valerie closely work and consult together regarding the students on the caseload at Manatee. They will consult with professionals in the American Speech Language Hearing Association when a student requires more intensive services.
