Notice of Probationary Status

On May 13, 2011 the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) notified the
Mayflower School District that the Mayflower Middle School did not meet
standards for accreditation for the 2010-11 school year. The Mayflower
Middle School has been placed on Probationary status.

This was due to the certification of one of the teachers. This teacher was
teaching history and did not have an ADE approved waiver for the year. This
teacher, at this time, is fully certified to teach history.
