Da Vinci Academy
The da Vinci Academy of Aerospace Technology is a four-year Choice Academy at Merritt Island High School. Students work in cohorts using project-based learning – taking five engineering courses during high school and having the opportunity to earn an industry certification in AutoCad Inventor. They also participate in job shadowing and internship opportunities with major aerospace companies.
The purpose of the Digital Design Program is to prepare students for employment in digital publishing positions. Students have the opportunity to obtain multiple Adobe Certifications: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere Pro. Students earn Honors Credit in Digital Design 2, 3, and 4.
Early Childhood CTE is a sequence of courses that may lead to a Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) and up to 12 college credits. Students develop and implement lesson plans and work individually and in small groups with pre-K children that attend the program 4 days per week.
