ASVAB scores are in!  Go by ROTC to get your scores.

 

 

 

Attention Girls Soccer- Tryouts start Monday, 5:00-6:45 at the PRACTICE field. You MUST have a completed physical to tryout. 

 

 

 

KEY Club is Homecoming roses and Homecoming mums during lunch Friday!  Roses are 1 for $3, or 2 for $5.  Mums are $8.  GRAPHIC Help support this great service organization and show someone you care!  Go MUSTANGS!

 

 

 

There is a debate team meeting Friday after school in the media center for those who completed the tryout process.  Be there at 3:30. 

 

 

 

Our performing arts department is presenting Halloween Improv and Student Performance Night Friday night at 7pm in the drama room.  The cost is $2 for students and $4 for adults. There will be games, a costume contest, and more. See the flyers posted around school for more details.

 

 

 

Did you know--Before blood types were discovered, doctors experimented with blood transfusions between humans and animals.  It did not go well!   However, you can Save A Life--- be someone’s Hero and prepare your body to donate blood on MONDAY, Oct 22. Thank you to the students who already signed up to donate!    

 

 

 

Book Club will be meeting during both lunches next Wednesday the 24th.  Bring your lunch and meet in the career center in the media center. 

 

 

 

Seniors! Have you thought about a solid paying career as an electrician, plumber, machinist, or in air conditioning repair?  GRAPHIC

 

Mr. Parker is organizing a field trip to an apprenticeship job fair on November 15th.  Stop by E101 to confirm your spot and get a permission form! 

 

 

 

Everyone is invited to our annual Off to College & Career night next Tuesday, October 23rd, 6 to 8PM in the N Wing Building. There will be several colleges holding a mini-college fair as well as speaking on different topics about applying and getting into colleges.

 

In addition, we’ll have some other careers represented that you can speak to about those opportunities. And there’s free FOOD! Don’t miss out—you need this information.

 

 

 

Attention Dual Enrollment students- Spring 2019 registration is underway! Make your EFSC appointment through MyEFSC for October 29 or after. Walk-in’s are available on a first come, first-served basis starting November 5.  Make sure you have met with your MIHS counselor and have the proper paperwork before you go.
