First, We would like to wish our FPS team good luck as they go to state competition Sunday.
Attn Seniors taking Math through Adult Ed: As long as there are open seats, you may attend Tuesday afternoon classes in addition to Thursday classes, but not in place of your Thursday class. See Mrs. Fredericks if you have any questions.
Attention sophomores and juniors! Mustang Round-up Leader Applications may be picked up in room N-102 for the 2017-18 Round-up freshman orientation. All applications due by 3:45 P.M. on Friday, March 31st. Community service hours awarded for your time if you are selected as a leader.
National Art Honor Society Members - the induction breakfast will be held on Wednesday, March 29th at 8:15 in Mrs. Rensing's room. Membership certificates will be given out and donuts and juice will be provided. Please plan to attend.
There will be a FAME luncheon on Thursday, March 30th for all FAME Academy students. The theme will be “Mad Hatter Tea Party,” and Ms. Cheshire’s foods class has graciously agreed to cater this event for us.
All SGA members need to pick up a copy of the club’s new bylaws to review for the meeting on Friday, March 31st. Copies with be available in the front office starting Monday morning.
There are free books available in the media center – stop by and check out the selection – everything from philosophy to astronomy to animals!
MIHS Blood Donors and OneBlood Club members: We are so happy to tell you that MIHS was able to collect 73 whole blood and 2 double red cell donations at our blood drive March 10. This was our biggest turn out since starting the blood drives in 2009. We were HEROES for 225 community members! Congratulations to everyone that participated, and thank you to teachers for being accommodating, to Mustangs for donating, and especially to Ms. Stephens for keeping the attendance records accurate. Thank you from the OneBlood Club.
Seniors: Prom King and Queen final voting will be on Tuesday, March 28, during lunches. Students who dual enroll or who are early admitted may vote those days by going to Ms. Conover’s room before or after school.
Prom is on April 1th at the Space Coast Convention Center/Holiday Inn Express from 7:00pm-11:00pm. Tickets are now $60.00 cash only. Please see Ms. Conover in room N130B to purchase your tickets.

The Mustang Mall is open on Friday mornings from 8:00-8:40. Feel free to come and try on some beautiful outfits! If you would like to shop and can’t make it at that time, please see Dr. Blyth, Mrs. Sardella or Ms. Quintal.
Also seniors, it is time to send in pictures for the senior video. Send your pictures and short videos to firstname.lastname@example.org. Pictures and videos should be from ninth through twelfth grade and school appropriate.

Applications for the SeaWorld Environmental Scholarship are due Friday, March 31. Applicants should have at least a 3.0 and demonstrate a commitment to conservation or environmental issues. For more info, go to the Sea World website or guidance.
