STI STUDENTS OUTSIDE OF THE NORTH POINT ZONE 

• The following is a list of the transportation options available to those students admitted to North Point through the STI program.  Please review each option and choose the one that best fits you and your child.  
   
• Reminder, your selection is for the entire 2012-2013 school year.  All bus change requests require approval through North Point's administration.

 Morning

Option 1

Student will ride a bus from a stop currently established for the high school zone in which they reside.  Once the bus arrives at Lackey,    La Plata, McDonough, Thomas Stone, or Westlake, a shuttle bus will be waiting to take students to North Point.

Option 2

Student will ride an express bus that goes directly to North Point.  These stops are designed to provide direct transportation to North Point.  The parent/guardian is responsible for getting the student to and from the designated pick-up points along express routes.  The a.m. and p.m. express routes are available here.

Option 3

Student will be dropped off at North Point.

Afternoon

Option 1

Student will ride an express bus to the elementary school zone in which he or she resides and either transfer to an elementary bus, be picked up or will walk home.

Option 2

Student will ride an express bus to a specific neighborhood indicated on the established express routes.

Option 3

Student will be picked up at North Point.

Note:  All times are approximate at this point.  Express stops that are not utilized may be eliminated.  No new stops will be added.
