The NuView Academy provides a free, appropriate, public education (FAPE), in the least restrictive environment (LRE) for students exhibiting severe sysmptoms of disagnosis of Depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivitity Disorder (ADHD), Conduct Disorder, Thought Disorder or Anxiety Disorder.
The program is a collaboration between the Educational Services Commission of New Jersey and Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care. The ESCNJ provides all education programming and coordinates referral procedures. Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care provides the psychiatric and therapeutic components for reaching goals to ensure student success.
The NuView Academy operates from 8:30 a.m. - 2:15 p.m, Monday through Friday, 48 weeks per year.
