Welcome to the Oswayo Valley School District in Potter County, PA. This area is locally known as "God's Country" because of the abundance of untarnished wilderness and beautiful vistas throughout the county. The area is also part of the Pennsylvania Wilds Region, comprised of some of the most beautiful areas of undeveloped land in the country. The Oswayo Valley School District encompasses nearly 130 square miles. It is made up of the Boroughs of Oswayo and Shinglehouse and Townships of Clara, Oswayo, and Sharon in NW Potter County and part of Ceres Township in NE McKean County. All the municipalities lie within the beautiful Oswayo Valley River Valley. The area borders the New York Counties of Cattaraugus and Allegany.
