Bienvenidos a la clase de Sra. Burgos,

This year the students will be working on the second part of Spanish 1. Our focus will be to continue developing their grammar, reading, writing and vocabulary skills in Spanish. They have Spanish 4 days a week and can expect to have homework on almost every day.

Each student's academic performance in this class will be measured based on classwork, homework, quizzes, exams and oral presentations. Because not everyone has someone at home that can help them with Spanish homework, the homework is graded based on completion. Although I do not take points off if the student did not do it right, I do take points off for not showing real effort. Effort is demonstrated by completing all of the questions using their understanding of the concept.
