Palm Beach Gardens High School

A GREAT DAY TO BE A GATOR

(May 22, 2008) More than 420 PBGHS seniors walked across the stage at the Palm Beach County Convention Center on Thursday, May 22nd, to receive their diplomas.  The Center's giant hall was packed with students, staff, faculty, family and friends for the 90 minute commencement ceremony.

Dr. Jon Prince ("The Principal") was joined on stage by a handful of dignitaries, including PBCSD Superintendent Dr. Art Johnson.  In his remarks, Dr. Prince noted that his start at PBGHS in the 2004-2005 school year made him a freshman along with this year's senior class.  He thanked the class for the opportunity to serve them during the last four years, and told the students that they played a key role in helping restore Palm Beach Gardens to the distinction of being the "best high school in Palm Beach County."
