What is the daily schedule?
Students arrive between 8:50 and 9.10. Class begins at 9:10. Students are released at 3:40.
What are Early Release Fridays?
Early Release Fridays are designed for Staff Development. Early Release Fridays have the same start time with dismissal at 2:10; lunches are served. on the regular daily schedule.
Who are the administrators and office staff, and what are their roles?
Chris Thomas is our Principal. He provides leadership, personnel support & staff development and oversees district projects and community relations. Mr. Thomas also coordinates academic interventions for students needing extra support in reading, writing and math. He enjoys spending time in classrooms, the lunchroom and greeting students during arrival and dismissal.
John Schuster is our Dean of Students. He oversees Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, climate & culture, assemblies, student leadership & classified personnel. He provides behavior support to students throughout the day in classrooms, the lunchroom, at recess, arrival and dismissal.
Radie Haytack is our Building Manager. She is responsible for resource management, facility/emergency preparedness, scheduling & Zero Hour. Ms. Haytack also oversees our Extended Enrichment program and is the district director of Camp Casey, our grade 5 outdoor education program.
Robin Lawler is our Administrative Assistant/Office Manager. She provides assistance to Mr Thomas, supports staff, manages the building calendar, substitutes, payroll, purchasing and provides general office support.
Katrina Montgomery is our Secretary/Registrar. She manages student registration, records, attendance, transportation issues and provides parent, student and general office support.
Joanie Kokoczka is our Secretary/Librarian. She manages our library, assists with transportation issues & health room coverage and provides part time general office support.
Angie Post is our School Nurse. She provides care for sick/injured students (and staff) as needed, and manages student health records.
