PARCC - Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers measures how well students are mastering content aligned to Illinois’ new learning standards that are tied to college and career readiness.

- The PARCC window is:
- Elementary & Middle - April 3 to April 28
- Schools create school specific schedules within the testing windows.
- Students in grades 3 through 8 will be tested in reading and math.
- Paper-pencil and computer testing is available depending on grade level.
ISBE: Three things you need to know about PARCC
Illinois Science Assessment - Illinois will be administering a science assessment to all students in grades 3, 5, 8, and all High School Biology courses. The testing window and information will be posted on ISBE's website.
DLM - Dynamic Learning Maps are an alternative way for students with significant cognitive disabilities to demonstrate their learning.

Areas Tested: English Language Arts and Mathematics
ACCESS - ACCESS is a standards-based, criterion referenced English language proficiency test. It assesses social and instructional English as well as the language associated with language areas, mathematics, science and social studies within the school context across the four language domains (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing). This assessment is administered to Limited English Proficient students.
