I began my teaching career in the city of Chicago, after graduating from Loyola University of Chicago. After a few years of teaching in the city, I worked as a tutor for the State of Illinois while my children were very young. I eventually went on to receive my Master's degree from Concordia University and my doctorate from Loyola University of Chicago.
During my time as a teacher, I was fortunate to teach every grade from Kindergarten through eighth grade as well as graduate classes for Loyola University of Chicago. I then began my administrative career with positions in Districts #3 and #50 before I was hired as principal of Heritage Elementary School in 2000. In 2006 I became the second principal at Lincoln Elementary, where I currently and proudly serve all of my students and their families.
Lincoln Elementary has become a very creative and nurturing environment in my time here. Every year my staff and I strive to provide instruction to challenge every student. You can check out my messages to students and parents by clicking the Newsletters tab on the left.
