School Profile and Facts

Current Enrollment: Around 300 students, PreK3 - 8 Grade

Faculty: Principal, 30 lay teachers, library manager, technology specialists, nurse, 5 teacher aides, reading and math specialists

Faculty/Student Ratio: 1 class PreK3 (12), 2 classes per grade PreK4-8. Class sizes range from 11-25 students, Half-day and full-day PreK.

Qualifications of Staff: All academic instructors are degreed and certified; 10 masters' degrees; 33% of teachers have graduate degrees; average teaching tenure at SPS of 10 years

Curriculum: Diocese of Dallas Standards Based Curriculum; All core subjects plus Religion, Spanish, Technology, Art, Music, Library and Physical Education

Accreditation: TEA, TCCED, AdvancED

Hours: 8:00 AM to 3:35 PM; Full–day and half-day PreK; Extended Day is available from 7:00 AM - 7:30 AM and YMCA After School Care from 3:35 PM - 6:00 PM. 

Uniforms: Uniforms are mandatory and must be purchased from Risse Brothers.

Extracurricular Activities: Sports (Soccer, Cheerleading, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, Track, Golf, Tennis) through the Dallas Parochial League and the Richardson YMCA; Altar Servers, Art Club, Band, Boy & Girl Scouts, Choir, National Junior Honor Society, Recyling Club, Science Club, Speech and Drama, Student Council, Yearbook Staff, YMCA Youth and Government Program.

Special Programs: Math Resource K- 8, Dyslexia Therapy, Reading Resource K- 8, SOAR–Academically Talented 1- 4
