     Welcome to the South Park Middle School web site!  The South Park Middle School serves as the transitional school between the elementary school and the high school. 

     To serve this need, the middle school attempts to help the child evolve from a teacher-dependent learner to a self-directed, independent one.  In addition, the child is encouraged to acquire a spirit of inquiry and a commitment to continued self-learning and improvement. 

     The curriculum is designed to fulfill the needs of the student and to be relevant to his daily life.  Emphasis is placed on the development of the emotional, social and physical growth of each child.
