Orlando Vacation Homes 360 

Orlando Vacation Homes 360 is proud to announce their $1000 scholarship for Fall 2016. The award is given in honor of Dr. Modesto Torres, a humanitarian medical doctor who treated the poor, the meek, and sick his entire life.

 

Who can enter?

The scholarship is open to any high school senior about to enter college, or any student currently enrolled in college on a full-time basis.

 

How to enter:

Create a video (1 to 2 minutes). The      video can include what you are studying      in school, extracurricular activities,      and what you hope to achieve in college and beyond, etc.

Runnerclick is an online resource for runners that provides reviews on the latest in running shoes and gear. It also offers an increasingly popular running blog that provides pointers on how to successfully achieve a healthy and active lifestyle.

 

Through its Runnerclick Sports & Academic Scholarship, the website is accepting essay submissions on the topic of "Staying active through sports can be a very beneficial part of your life in many ways, for many different reasons." Through the annual program, three $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to the authors of the best essays.

 

To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in a graduate program, an undergraduate program, or be a high school senior who has a valid acceptance letter to an accredited university or college. In addition, the institution in which the applicant is enrolled or attending must be one that is accredited and recognized by the highest educational authorities in the applicant's country.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, which helps high-achieving low-income students reach their full potential through education, is inviting applications for its College Scholarship Program.

 

Scholarship recipients will be awarded as much as $40,000 each year for four years for tuition, books, living expenses, and other required fees. Up to forty spaces are available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend the nation’s best four-year colleges and universities. In addition to financial support, the program offers an on-staff adviser to help students transition to college and maximize their campus experiences, a network of scholars, and opportunities students might not otherwise have, such as funding for internships, study abroad, and graduate study.

 

To be eligible, applicants must plan to graduate from a U.S. high school in the spring of 2017 and enroll in an accredited four-year college in the fall; earn a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above; receive a SAT combined math and critical reading score of 1200 or above, or an ACT composite score of 26 or above; and demonstrate unmet financial need.
