SRS Business Partner and Volunteers of the Year

SRS Business Partner and Volunteers of the Year
Awardees honored at Catholic Business Network Gala

SRS announces its Volunteers of the Year, parents Angela and Mike Mussio, and its Business Partner of the Year, Donut King!
Below is what Principal Teri Dwyer submitted to the Catholic Business Network of Montgomery County, the group that organized the honors.

Volunteers of the Year: Angela and Mike Mussio

Angela and Mike Mussio arrived at St. Raphael ready to help in every area of school life. From taking the lead in our annual fundraiser, SpringFest, to managing our 5K, Angels on the Run, their energy and enthusiasm ripple through our community. Parents of three SRS Angels, the Mussios are an integral part of everything St. Raphael. They positively impact our school and parish family, from all things at the golf tournament (moving supplies, registering golfers, even MC’ing the evening), to chairing the HSA, leading a Daisy Troop, and coaching soccer and basketball. And they do it all while building family within our school community!

Bu
siness Partner of the Year: Donut King Café and Grill

Alina and Rich Baum are parents of a St. Raphael grad and a current seventh-grader. If there is an event, a reception, or a celebration, you can be sure there are goodies from Donut King Café and Grill. The Baums are quick to volunteer in every capacity at SRS, but they never come empty-handed. From a sta lunch to a National Junior Honor Society reception, our St. Raphael family is treated well by Alina and her family-owned Donut King. We want to celebrate the relationship by naming Donut King Café and Grill as our business partner of the year!
