Teacher Appreciation Week May 7^th- May 11^th !!!!!!!!

There are many opportunities to support and encourage our teachers during this week.  Please take time to personally thank your teachers for the awesome job that they do.  We will be having a luncheon in their honor and will be asking for some side dishes and desserts (more information to follow).  Also asking for donations of gift cards for the teachers to be raffled at the luncheon in $10-$15 increments. JDRF Fun Run

The TMS PTA is helping to sponsor a Juvenile Diabetes Fun Run at TMS on May 15, 2012 at 2:45. We need parent volunteers to help with registration and monitoring the race. Prizes will  be given out for top earners and raffle winners.  We do have an alternate rain date of May 17, 2012. Please contact Angie Speight for details and to contribute donations for prizes at:

2013 York County School Budget has a severe short fall and it can impact our students in a very real way.  Attached to the left you will find a copy of the letter from the YCSD about proposed ways to make up the short fall and letters from the York County PTA Leadership on who we as parents can contact to express our concerns, along with some major talking points.
