Vinson Bell (2013-2017)
Mr. Bell has served on the Board of Education since 2013, has lived in the District since 2008, and has one daughter attending Temple City schools. He grew up in Temple City and graduated from Temple City High School in 1990. Mr. Bell works in polymer chemistry for the print industry. He is a dedicated TCUSD volunteer and is actively involved wih PTA, TCHS Grad Nite, volunteering at school sites, and much more. Mr. Bell believes his greatest strength is showing compassion and caring for everyone.
Kenneth Knollenberg (2011-2019)
Mr. Knollenberg has served on the Board of Education since 2011. He is a lifelong resident of Temple City and attended Temple City schools. He is a retired Civil Engineer who worked 31 years as a civilian employee for the United States Navy. Mr. Knollenberg also served on a Credit Union Supervisory Committee for over 35 years.
John Pomeroy (2013-2017)
Mr. Pomeroy has served on the Board of Education since 2013. He has lived in the District since 2004 and has two daughters attending Temple City schools. He grew up in Pasadena and attended the University of Virginia where he obtained both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in music. He obtained a law degree from UCLA Law School and presently works as a Deputy District Attoney for the County of Los Angeles. Prior to becoming a member of the Board of Education, he served as Chair of the Longden School Site Council. He has served as a coach and a referee with Temple City AYSO.
George Goold (2016–2017)
Mr. Goold was appointed to the Board of Education in August 2016. He also serves on the District’s Personnel Commission. Mr. Goold is a long-standing member of the Temple City community and is an active parent/grandparent of TCUSD students. Before retiring, Mr. Goold worked in the field of pediatric respiratory therapy. As a member of the Board of Education, he hopes to apply that knowledge and skill to the District’s school safety measures.
Larry Marston (2015-2019)
Mr. Marston was seated as a Board member on December 4, 2015. He is a longtime resident of the District and has two sons attending Temple City schools. Mr. Marston is an Army veteran, a Software Engineer, and has owned his own small business for 25 years. He typically spends his free time volunteering with the schools and in the community.
