Selection Process

National Honor Society members are 10th, and 11th graders who have been enrolled at Titusville High for at least one semester. The        following steps are followed for the evaluation process:

  1. In January, after Term 1 grades are posted, students with  a weighted GPA of 3.80 or higher are listed.
  2. The lists are then sent to grade-level administrators. Students  who have had a referral resulting in suspension during this school  year are removed from the list.
  3. All students remaining on the list are notified and given the opportunity to complete a packet for admission into the National Honor Society.
  4. Each packet is evaluated by the Faculty Council. Students with a 3.8 or higher average teacher recommendation score are accepted into the National Honor Society.
