WMHS Banking 2 students WIN MA School Bank Assoc. Banking Competition
On Friday April 10th Woburn Memorial High School students Randy Castillo, Andrew Claflin, Gina D’Addario, Danielle Keating, and Tatiana Rivera from Mr. Sullivan’s Banking 2 class won first place in the Mass School Bank Assoc.
2015 Banking Bowl competition! The Banking Bowl is an educational competition held each year at the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston in which approximately 30 teams from schools all across MA compete against each other answering a variety of banking and other financial services questions. The students, who are part of the Banking 2 program, are employees of Rockland Trust and work a couple of days each week in the Woburn Memorial High School branch of Rockland Trust that is managed by Branch Supervisor Carol McCarthy. The Banking 2 program offers five high quality senior students each year the unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in the Banking industry by attending class with Mr. Sullivan and working in the school bank with supervisor Carol McCarthy.
