York Elementary School Parents and Students,
ANNOUNCEMENT OF BUS ROUTE NUMBER CHANGES
As you know, the division implemented a new software program to manage school bus transportation. This program is designed to support our goals of transporting all students safely to and from school, and improving customer service. One feature of the new software is the “My Stop” application which enables notifications as well as tracking services for parents of school bus riders. In order to enable that application, some York County School Division buses will operate with different route numbers, beginning Thursday, January 18, 2018.
Please, be aware of the changes made to the following bus route numbers:
- Route 74 will now be Route 62
- Route 104 will now be Route 107
- Route 92 will now be Route 78
- Route 97 will now be Route 136
- Route 69 will now be Route 52
- Route 55 will now be Route 64
While the students will need to learn their new route numbers, this change will have no effect on stop times, locations, or your current school bus driver. We ask that you continue to have students at the bus stops 10 minutes before the scheduled stop time.
Please take a few minutes to review with your child the information listed above. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact York County Schools Transportation at 757-898-0344.
