Members of the New Brunswick School Superintendents’ Association will be attending the CASSA conference in Halifax as they combine their annual general meeting with the CASSA Conference. The Gallant government is following up on their promise to return the French Immersion entry point back to Grade 1. There has been good registration uptake from parents. Michael Fullan recently met with superintendents to support the Ministry’s 10-year education plan. He provided advice on how to move forward. The issue of snow days and lost instructional time has been prominent in the media. New Brunswick is experiencing a shortage for French language and casual/supply teachers.
