PROCLAMATION BY GOVERNOR EARL RAY TOMBLIN

Service personnel are involved in nearly every aspect of education by maintaining buildings and grounds, preparing and serving meals, keeping school facilities clean and orderly, and assisting in the classrooms, as well as providing administrative support functions, safe transportation, and many other specialized services.

School service Personnel are instrumental in West Virginia's responsibility to educate all students.

It is fitting we recognize the outstanding work these individuals do for this state, their commuities, and the students enrolled in West Virginia schools.

It is therefore proclaimed that September 23, 2016 is

West Virginia School Service Personnel Day

Please join us as we celebrate Wirt County Schools' Service Personnel!

THE MISSION OF WIRT COUNTY SCHOOLS IS TO FOSTER POSITIVE STUDENT GROWTH AND BEHAVIOR IN AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE STUDENTS WORK  COOPERATIVELY.  STUDENTS WILL LEAD, LEARN AND THRIVE THROUGH REAL WORLD EXPERIENCES WITH COLLABORATIVE SUPPORT FROM THE SCHOOL,  HOME AND COMMUNITY.
