Prevention of Diseases

Cold and Flu season is here.  The number one way to stay well is to wash your hands often.  Parents play an important role by stressing to their children when and how to wash their hands.  You may go to CDC.gov and type in their search box for whatever the illness is that you are concerned about, or type in "hand washing" and there are many good tips on good hand hygiene.  Everyone should wash their hands before eating and after using the restroom.  Also, train yourself to cough and sneeze in your elbow, not your hands to prevent spreading germs.  Never drink or eat after another person even if you think that person is well.
