Very Rev. Paul Hartmann became the 7th President of Catholic Memorial High School on July 1, 2008. The first alumnus to fill this role, Fr. Paul graduated CMH in 1984. Ordained to the priesthood in 1994, prior to coming to CMH, Fr. Hartmann served full-time as the Judicial Vicar of the Metropolitan Tribunal, Archdiocese of Milwaukee. This is a role that he still serves in the Archdiocese, but with only limited office responsibilities. He holds a Pontifical Licentiate in Canon Law from the Catholic University of America, and received his Masters of Divinity degree from St. Francis Seminary in Milwaukee. His undergraduate studies at Marquette University included majors in philosophy and broadcast communications. Since his ordination Fr. Hartmann has served in numerous pastoral roles in many parishes; taught Canon Law at both St. Francis Seminary and Sacred Heart School of Theology; as well as serving as the Archbishop’s designated Chaplain to groups such as the Catholic Committee on Scouting, the Knights of Columbus, the Knights of Malta, and the St. Thomas More Lawyers Society.
