Swim season officially starts on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Do NOT be unprepared.
You can start prepping now:
- Eliminate sodas and start getting re-hydrated. Much of the soreness of the first workouts can be avoided by proper hydration.
- Take advantage of the extra hour of sleep by not taking it! Get up an hour earlier and do some basic stretching and exercising. See the list of land exercises in the information section. Not only will you be getting yourself physically ready for practices, you will also be acclimating yourself to the early mornings.
- Get to bed early. You are going to need to be well rested, very well rested.
