  • I spent 13 years in the Seymour Public Schools as a student, from the fall of 1985 through the spring of 1998, when I graduated from Seymour High School. During my four years at SHS, I participated in varsity football, track, and swimming, while also taking part in the strength and conditioning program. Additionally, I served as statistician for the girls' basketball team, participated in the Spanish Club and National Honors Society. In my senior year, I was named captain of both the football and track teams, and have been fortunate enough to coach in both programs.

Personal Hobbies:

  • Running, good books, movies, and music, Cape Cod, and spending time with my 3 children and wife.

Why is it great to be a Wildcat?

  • From the knowledge and experience a student can gain in our classrooms as they prepare for college and life, to the passionate staff, to the tradition of excellence of our athletic programs, to the great various clubs and organizations at Seymour High School, to the activities, experiences, and memories students can make here, EVERY DAY is a great day to be a Wildcat.

  •  Published a Master’s thesis on the Office of War Information and Propaganda's Impact on Advertising during World War II.

  • Awarded the American Legion's Patriotism Award from the Emil Senger American Legion Post 10 in Seymour in part because of my Clothing and H/BA Drive through HOPE Club for the VA Hospital in West Haven.

Personal Hobbies:

  •  I enjoy kayaking, hiking and running. I especially enjoy spending time with my family.

Why is it great to be a Wildcat?

  • There is no other place I would rather work than Seymour High School. Seymour is filled with great students, great staff and is a fantastic community. We look out for each other when the times get tough, we support each other when we are on the road to state championships and we never forget where we come from and who we are. We are Seymour and we are the Wildcats! The best school in the Valley.
